The story behind the t-shirt
The origin of this piece goes way back to my childhood, growing up in Dubai in the 90s. My first encounters with conservation came through this very canvas bag made by the Arabian Leopard Trust. The image and message stayed with me and recently discovering the bag again, I was inspired to continue its message. Some of my fondest childhood memories were also spent in the same habitats as the leopard, the mountains and deserts of the UAE, which gives this story an even deeper personal meaning for me.
This design is a tribute to that memory and to the Arabian leopard itself, with fewer than 200 individuals remaining in the wild, a species whose story still deserves to be seen, shared, and remembered.
